In a normal day I will be using my computer for most of the day. Today I have been using a model to look at the pressure drop through a system for a mission to Mars. Between the tank (which stores the fuel) and the engine there are various valves, filters and things to measure pressure. Each of these causes a drop in the pressure which means less thrust/force to the engine.

I usually have a few meetings in the week to discuss status with the rest of the project team. All the different teams need to interact frequently as we each have inputs/outputs that effect each other.

Sometimes I also get to go into the cleanroom and see the hardware.
